Nutty Triple Chocolate Brownie

Ingredients:
300g 55-65% Dark Chocolate
240ml Vegetable Oil or neutral oil equivalent
230g Brown Sugar
240g whole egg
1 teaspoon Mixed Spice Powder
10g Vanilla Essence/Extract
130g Self Raising Flour
50g Cocoa Powder
150g Lightly Roasted Nuts- Chopped ... I’m a fan or Walnuts and Macadamia for these
50g Chocolate Buttons

Method:
1. Melt chocolate in a stainless steel bowl over hot water “Bani-Marie”.
2. Beat the oil, eggs, vanilla and sugar until thickened, stir into the melted chocolate, mix
till smooth.
3. Sift cocoa, mixed spice and flour together and mix into the chocolate mix, fold in half the
nuts and remaining chocolate. Arrange the other half chocolate and nuts on top.
4. Pour into a greased and lined pan and bake @ 180 for 30mins.

The top will be shiny and cracked and spring back slightly when cooked. If overcooked the
brownies will be hard.

This recipe times up or down nicely if you want to make lots more or less :)

Enjoy!!
